pocket change

Listening to: 'Youngblood' - Russian Circles

Well, I haven't forgotten this little nook. I just got trapped in a little bit of my own procrastination and a whole pile of moving and packing. Big changes are happening around here which has had everyone living in a little bit of limbo for the past week or so. Dishing it out in summary now, I'm not yet sure what I want to say about all this, but feel I owe this blog a post.

The Boy is moving in here, well, has moved in. We packed and moved all his worldly possessions last night/today. He's across the hall now, unpacking and settling into his new room. I can hear sighs and 'ughs', the result of one day too many of boxes and packing tape. We've been together three and a half years now, and this living together will be a first.

Nathan, our third roommate hails from Calgary, and seems to be fairly indifferent about most things. He's older, 27, closer to Boy's age which will be nice for them both. He seems to be an alright guy, so it'll be interesting to see how things play out.

We're starting an at-home personal training business - Prime Personal Training - for the summer and hopefully continuing through the year. The idea being to offer some ass-kicking personal training and body composition transformation packages at decent prices in a private location. Some nutritional guiding may be part of the deal with clients as well, since the two go hand in hand, and its hard to do one without the other.

We got our equipment for training yesterday - a power rack, 375lbs in plates, an oly-bar and some floor mats. This will compliment the bench, standard bar, 200-ish lbs in standard plates, and dumbbells we already had. Its all piled in the corner of what was the living room, waiting to be assembled and organized, after we move the current living room to the former dining room (now in the kitchen). It all feels a bit surreal still, its strange how thoughts and ponderings from years ago are starting to actualize without any deliberate connection. We're still up for the summer company grant, which we'll hopefully get - $3k would really help offset equipment and start up costs for Prime. That will all likely be assembled tomorrow and Friday, then the moving and chaos will be mostly over. I'll have to post pictures of the new layout once all is said and done.

I think thats about all for now. Classes start Monday, and I promise my breakfast shake recipe tomorrow. Its tasty, healthy, and stupid easy.

I didn't know you guys were moving in together. fun :) except the moving part. That part isn't much fun at all. But sounds like you've got most of it down.
